Well, we didn't quite break the 100 mark with just over 90 participants this year. It turned out to be a wonderful weekend again (our 3rd Annual event) made even better by the fact that we had a pastor led worship service this year for the first time, which was a terrific worship experience on Sunday morning by campfire!
My older son has done all three years now but this was the 3-year old's first time sleeping out in the tent and he also enjoyed it. We made a long hike around the lake and he ran out of gas on Saturday afternoon, had to be carried back and then took a two hour nap in the tent. The boys had hotdogs cooked over the campfire and S'Mores that night and enjoyed being out in the woods. Got a little cold Saturday night as a storm blew through but we survived. Can't wait till next year!
